The Boondock Hippy are a vintage 9 piece Blues, folk and country Soul band(with horn section) from London. The new Single “The Route” is being released on 27.06.24 on Apple Music, Spotify and all major digital platforms
The band have been extensively playlisted on BBC Radio 2/BBC Radio Scotland/BBC 6 Music/BBC Radio Wales and many other stations within the UK. They have performed at some of the UKs biggest festivals; including Eden Festival/Ealing Blues Festival and Shrewsbury Folk Festival(All main stage performances).
They are on the official roster for Radioactive Promotions, who manage the regional radio itinerary for the likes of Noel Gallagher/Paul Weller/The Artic Monkeys/The Kaiser Chiefs/Kate Tempest/Wolf Alice and many more major artists in the UK and overseas. The Boondock Hippy have featured on Channel 4(Sunday Brunch), ITV(Cheltenham Festival) & have also performed live several times now on BBC Radio London(The Gaby Roslin show).
The band have also provided film soundtracks for the likes of Channel 4-The Endless Winter(Level Films). The BH are also available to hire for coorporate shows/weddings/private parties
